One of the biggest mistakes I have made in the past was starting a project blind. I would "Guess" that a market or product would sell based upon absolutely NO market research. A BIG NO NO!! Never start a website unless you have done some homework first. Secondly, I have a much better time at building a well put together website if I know something about the subject matter. So, I bet you are asking yourself, How do I do Market Research?? What do I look for? Over the next few days I will be explaining the What, where, why, and How of Market research.
But first Ill let you think about three (3) major areas to look first. Can you guess where and what they are?

The very beginning of the content area of your web pages should start with an <H1> header. Generally the title of your articles should be an <H1> header. Your H1 could be the same as your title in the <title> tag.
Be sure that you include your parent theme. In this case stuffed bears etc, can be your parent theme. The parent keyword should be put on the home page.
1. The title tag . Always ensure you have a title tag that includes your parent theme. It doesnt matter if your parent theme (main Keyword) is at the beggining middle or end, just be sure that it is there. 2. Meta description tag . be sure to mention your parent theme (main Keyword) somewhere inside of your meta description tag. Please contact your webmaster to have him place meta tags on each of your pages. 3. First Paragraph . Be sure to mention your parent theme (main Keyword) somewhere in the first paragraph of your content. 4. Bold or Italic . You may want to place bold or italic on your parent theme somewhere within the first 3 paragraphs of your content. This gives heavier weight to your parent theme because the search engines to see bold or italic as giving more weight to a keyword or keyword phrase. 5. File name . your parent theme keyword or key phrase should also appear in the file name for the page with hyphens, not underscores. This should already have been taken care of by this point. ( your page titles need to have your keywords within them..) 6.anchor text is simply text that you can click on to arrive at a new page within your site or an external site.. For your purposes you will need to ensure that every page of your website has anchor text that points to it from another page in your website and that the text is relevant to what the link points to. Make sure a keyword is placed within the text itself. . (Anchor text should be a text link that will have a related keyword in the text so it relates to the page it is pointing to..) This gives the search engines a heads up as to what the page will contain April 13 Search EnginesLets face it. We are at the mercy of the search engines when it comes to selling online. Nothing happens with online sales without a search engine. By Search Engine I mean Google, MSN and directories such as Yahoo!
Most consumers and site visitors will open there browser and have a favorite website or search Engine ready to go. They will type in a phrase or what is known in SEO as keyword(s)
